REGISTRATION TO NON-CHASSIDISH CHABUROS:

For the Summer Zman you must be in the end of third year Bais Medrash. For the Elul/Winter Zman you must have completed three years of Bais Medrash. Additionally, you must receive recommendation to apply to Yeshivas Mir from your current Rosh Yeshiva. Please reach out to our office at 718-436-7100 Ext. 1 / 02033228855 Ext. 1 for a מכתב המלצה form to be sent to your Rosh Yeshiva. Farhers will only be given after we receive your Rosh Yeshiva's recommendation to apply.

You must have completed two years of Bais Medrash.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Every application form is subject to approval by the Hanhalla, before being interviewed by the Rosh Hayeshiva.
  • All applications must be submitted along with a clear colored picture. We will not accept a Teudat Zehut or Passport as a picture. In addition, a colored copy of the passport must be attached.
  • An Incomplete application form will not be forwarded to the Hanhalla for approval. All fields must be filled out.
  • Please Note: One of the terms to be accepted to the Yeshiva is that the cellphone of the applicant and his wife should only be phones that are approved by the Vaad Harabanim Linyanei Tikshorot.
  • Acceptance to the Kollel is only upon receipt of a "Ksav Kabbalah" from the Rosh Hayeshiva and after submitting it to the Yeshiva office.
  • The Yeshiva does not guarantee acceptance, therefore we recommend not to book airline tickets to Israel nor to rent apartments etc., before receiving an answer from the yeshiva.
  • Please note: registration terms for Yungerleit are before Pesach, Elul and Succos.
  • It is the applicant's responsibility to follow up on the process of the registration before the start of the zman, in order not to miss the final date of registration.

Regulations and Agreement / תצהיר

1. I, the undersigned, affirm that if I don't come to receive my monthly stipend within 3 months from the day it is distributed, the stipend will be transferred to the Yeshiva.
2. I am aware that only avreichim who updated their visas and their stays abroad conform to the Misrad Hadatot regulations and are eligible for stipends.
3. It's the Talmid's duty to inform the office of every exit and return from abroad, passport # changes, or any changes pertaining to his learning in yeshiva.
4. I also affirm that my family and I have only kosher cellphones that are approved by the Vaad Harabanim Linyanei Tikshorot, and in my home we have no access to media without a certified filter.
5. I am aware that if I am a foreign student who also has a Teudat Zehut, the marital status must be updated in Misrad Hapnim in order to be eligible to a Kollel stipend.
